Corn on the Cob

We had corn on the cob for dinner last night and of course it lead to some drama. I had cut the kernels off of the cob so Christian could enjoy it. Little did I know that it would lead to a fit. Christian became very upset when he realized he was the only one at the table that was not eating his corn off the cob. He fussed and cried until I gave him his own corn on the cob.

Some people say that Christian is "hard headed", but I like to think of him as being very determined and head strong. Is guess he can thank his mother for these traits.

Time with Grammy and Mimi

The boys had a great time with Grammy and Mimi Friday night.
Michael had fun showing Mimi his favorite pictures on the family blog. She was amazed at his ability to operate the computer. Michael definitely gets his computer knowledge from his Dad.

Christian and Mimi have a very special relationship. We refer to her as his "bread and butter". Here is a picture of Christian cuddling with Mimi...one of his favorite things to do when he goes to Grammy's house.

Michael also had a good time playing games with Grammy. It doesn't take long for the boys to end up on Grammy's lap for some hugs, kisses and a bunch of laughs.

Brotherly Love !

This picture was taken today when Aunt Shell and I took the boys out to lunch. They really do love each other and enjoy hugging one another. I just thought this was too sweet not to capture!

Guess Who Did This!

There really isn't too much to say about this picture. When you have a house full of boys I guess this sort of thing is just run of the mill. However, it still takes me by surprise when I find objects in places they don't belong.

Popsicles with Pops!

Last Friday we went to Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house for dinner. The boys were able to spend some time with a few of their aunts, and have some of Maw Maw's famous seafood gumbo. After dinner Christian spent most of his time with Pops.

Look at Christian's face. He's always very serious when it comes to food!

Happy 30th Birthday Mommy!

I was very anxious about my 30th birthday, but the boys made sure that I had a great day! Daddy, Aunt Shell, Michael and Christian took me to the French Quarter for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we spent much of the time just walking around. Michael especially liked chasing the pigeons around the Cathedral and Christian enjoyed watching his big brother act silly.

I had a wonderful time! I could not have asked for a better birthday adventure and a better birthday celebration!
