Happy Birthday Christian

Yesterday was Christian's 1st birthday! I fixed a big pot of meatballs and spaghetti and we had some family and friends over to help us celebrate. Christian's favorite part of the dinner was sitting on Uncle Johnny's lap eating his own piece of birthday cake.

Our New Swing Set

It was raining Christmas morning so we didn't get a chance to test the new swing set that Santa left for the boys. They didn't seem to mind that fact that it was dark and chilly when we let them have some fun outside Christmas night.

Thanks for Pops for the Basketball goal! He even gave Daddy a break and put it together himself.

Christmas Night

Peeps, Pops, and Shell joined us at our house Christmas night for the third and final round of gifts.

Mimi's House

We spent the day at Mimi's house and had our second round of opening presents. Poor Daddy spent the majority of the time assembling all of the children's toys.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was a lot of fun! Michael enjoyed opening his gifts from Santa and Christian had loads of fun playing with his new Elmo slippers. Britney even joined in on some of the fun!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Jason's side of the family. The boys really had a good time seeing all of their aunts and playing with their older cousins. Thanks to everyone for all the gifts!

Holiday Shopping

I took the boys with me to do some Christmas shopping. Here are a few pictures from that adventure!

Christmas Pictures

We had our annual Christmas pictures taken this week. The original plan was to have both Michael and Christian take a picture on Santa's lap...needless to say that didn't go so well. Even though we didn't get pictures with Santa, they did a wonderful job at the studio.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! We started off at the Jaunets in Covington and then ended up at our house for dinner with the Gambels. Michael had a lot of fun playing football with his cousins and Pops, and Christian was enjoying himself playing in the leaves.

Having Some Fun

The other day I took the boys to the mall so I could get some much needed shopping done. They were so well behaved that I decided to let them have some fun in one of their favorite stores. Michael of course enjoyed himself tremendously. Christian on the other hand was a little leery of the whole "bouncing" thing.

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treating was certainly an adventure! Michael dressed up as Lightning McQueen, the fastest race car in the world, and Christian was a pumpkin. Both of them were absolutely adorable. Michael even convinced his Aunt Michelle to dress up as a baby!

Happy Halloween

We all had a great Halloween this year! The fun started when we went to a local pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins for our front porch. It didn't take Michael long before he found the perfect one.
