We enjoyed ourselves this year at some of our favorite Mardi Gras parades! The weather was nice so we were able to bring Christian to his first parade...he slept the entire time!

Michael's Birthday Party

Michael had a cars theme for his birthday party this year. He had a great time hanging our with his cousins, Darryl, Drew, and Bryan.

Christian's 1st Bath

Grammy helped give Christian his first bath! Big Brother Michael was right there to help!

Michael's 3rd Birthday

Michael turned 3 on January 9th. We celebrated the day with a visit to Chuckie Cheese! Michael had a great time with Aunt Michelle.

That weekend we had his birthday party for our family and friends. Michael spent most of his time outside with his older cousins.

The New Addition to Our Family

Christian Paul was born December 30, 2006 at 4:54 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs 6 oz. and was 20 inches long.

Although he spent the first four days of his life in the NICU, some of our family members were able to visit him.

Merry Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve with the Jaunets and Christmas day with the Gambels. This year was the first time we had Christmas night at our house!

Of course Michael had a great time. At times he seemed to enjoy the wrapping paper and the boxes just as much as the presents!

Once Christmas day pasted I was ready to reopen my "window of opportunity" when it came to going into labor. I just didn't want to be in the hospital for Christmas. Time seemed to pass so slowly, but I knew it wouldn't be much longer.
